The Lawrenceville City Council recently voted to approve recommendations from the Community Development Department for an updated event policy to coincide with an updated event fee structure.
Lawrenceville is well known within Gwinnett for its numerous annual events held at the Lawrenceville Lawn. To accomplish these events while maintaining quality, the city has developed a fee structure for sponsorship, vendors and third-party rental/use of space. The updated policy outlines criteria for evaluating and scheduling community festivals and special events, guidelines for necessary permits, the application process, and necessary insurance.
