To insure the Lawrenceville Performing Arts Center Expansion Project is delivered within a guaranteed maximum price, the Lawrenceville City Council has approved a $15,000 contract with Carroll Daniel Construction Co. for the pre-construction phase costs.

The Construction Manager at Risk provides professional services and acts as a consultant to the city in the design development and construction phases and commits to delivering the project within budget based on the construction documents and specifications.

The contractor fees have been reduced by $173,825 from the original proposed fee due to a reduction in the project scope of work. The stated cost limitation for the arts center expansion is $15,836,250. A guaranteed maximum price will be presented to the council for approval at a later date. The CMAR contract is funded by the 2017 SPLOST.
