The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to approve a $114,839 contract with Wolverton & Associates Inc. for the design of a slip ramp at State Route 316 and State Route 120. The new ramp would allow traffic to by-pass SR 120 and have direct access from SR 316 eastbound into Gwinnett Medical Center.
This project is one of the 2017 Joint SPLOST projects chosen by the city to provide design and right-of-way acquisition. At this time there is not an identified source of funding for construction, however Gwinnett and Lawrenceville are working with Georgia DOT to identify potential resources.
