Kennesaw State University is scheduled to hold a symposium on the Civil Rights movement, following the struggle of African Americans  from the Civil War to today. The 2-day event starts on March 25 at 6 p.m. at the Old Zion Baptist Church at 165 Lemon St., Marietta. It continues at 8:30 a.m. at the Bursusr Building, Room 151 at the KSU campus, 1000 Chastain Road, Kennesaw, and again at 1 p.m. at the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, 900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive.
