Three more community meetings for the Johnson Ferry/Shallowford (JOSH) Small Area Plan are planned for 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 15, Feb. 12 and March 12.

Cobb District 2 Commissioner Bob Ott and Cobb Community Development Agency staff will host these meetings at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church, 2663 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta.

These meetings will provide opportunities for public comment that will be used with feedback previously received during the initial round of community meetings on the project.

There will be a presentation to refamiliarize the community with this project.

Then breakout groups will follow that will be facilitated by experts in the fields of land use, parks and recreation, transportation and stormwater.

They will discuss issues, concerns and ideas for the future of the JOSH community.
