Johns Creek City Council voted unanimously to purchase an existing office building in Technology Park to consolidate its city departments.

The city plans to renovate the 75,000-square-foot building, which sits on 7 acres at 11360 Lakefield Drive near LifeTime Fitness, according to a Thursday news release.

The move would put City Hall and the police and fire departments under one roof.
