The Henry Zoning Advisory Board voted at its Nov. 8 regular meeting to recommend approval of a rezoning request for an 86.5-acre site at 719 Crumbley Road.

The proposed change is from RA (residential agricultural) to R-2 (Sewer), and a 100-lot residential subdivision has been proposed on the property. County staff recommended approval of the rezoning request with conditions, noting that the application complies with the future land use map’s designation of low-density residential development for that location.

The request will now be heard by the Henry County Board of Commissioners in the near future.
