Lilburn Alliance Church would like to add a church day care center at their location at 5915 Lawrenceville Highway. Gwinnett Commissioners recently gave their approval with a few conditions.

The existing church site consists of a 49,514 square-foot building and 209 parking spaces. Direct access is provided from both Mimosa Circle and Mimosa Drive. The church seeks to utilize 1,600 square feet of the existing building as a day care for 18 to 25 children, including an after-school program. No new construction is planned.

Among the restrictions placed by the county, child pick-up and drop-off will be conducted on the interior of the site and queuing of vehicles on Mimosa Circle or Mimosa Drive is prohibited. The county also recommends a maximum of 20 children at the day care.
