Following a public hearing, the Grayson City Council voted recently to approve a zoning change to allow for construction of a two-story storage facility addition to Champion Storage Company at 2395 Loganville Highway.

Approval of the zoning change from residential to commercial comes with conditions including a requirement to build an access driveway at the front of the property, and a 38-foot landscaping buffer between the new building and the adjacent neighborhood. The 50,000-square-foot building may not be used for manufacturing or retail and may not have any public restrooms.
