The Grayson City Council appointed three members to its Downtown Development Authority at their most recent council meeting held Sept. 21.

Eddie Russell is a returning member of the DDA and will serve as the incoming Director. New members include Allison Grier and Vic Edens, both business owners in the jurisdiction.

The Grayson Downtown Development Authority is tasked with undertaking public improvements that have the greatest impact in strengthening the downtown area, attracting new private investments and fostering economic, cultural and social growth.
