Keep Forsyth County Beautiful invites residents to participate in this month’s “Great FoCo Cleanup” by picking up litter from along the county’s roadways.

The Forsyth section of the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup begins with a brief rally at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road.

Participants then will head out to work, returning to the recreation enter for food and fun, according to a county announcement. Volunteers with pickup trucks also are needed afterwards to help collect trash from clean-up locations.

“Anyone can make a positive impact on their community, whether they are individual residents, community organizations, families or businesses,” said Forsyth County Manager of Environmental Programs Tammy Wright.

To pre-register as an individual or a group, visit KeepForsythCountyBeautiful.org, email KFCB@forsythco.com or call 770-205-4573. Information: https://bit.ly/38FGEr6
