Demolition is continuing this week of the Citgo station at Veterans Memorial Highway at Floyd Road for the building of retaining walls and pouring curb and gutter.
The project will add dual left-turn lanes from Floyd Road onto Veterans Memorial Highway.
Periodic lane closures will continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday with one lane remaining open along Floyd Road from Veterans Memorial Highway to Clay Road.
Utilities will relocate services.
This portion of Floyd Road will accommodate four lanes with a divided median, an eight-foot to 12-foot-wide multi-use trail on the west side and a five-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side.
