Fayette County Public Schools is already putting together draft academic calendars for 2016-17 and 2017-18. Two possible schedules for each term were presented to the Board of Education at its workshop last Monday.
They differ in terms of start dates and the lengths of holiday breaks, and the number of teacher planning days. All four are being circulated to school staff now for comments before two final drafts will be presented for further review and voting later in the spring.
