Fayette County Public Schools is renewing its call for more bus drivers. The system provides training, and no previous experience is required, but applicants must pass a driving history and background check. Drivers work 180 days from August through May but get year-round pay.

New drivers start out as substitutes earning $64 per day, and full-time drivers are eligible for health, dental, life and short- and long-term insurance benefits in addition to sick leave. Fayette’s bus fleet is new and air-conditioned. Application information is at www.fcboe.org under District Announcements, or call 770-460-3520.
