The debate within Fayette

County’s Board of Commissioners over how to produce meeting minutes continued without resolution last Thursday. With only Chairman Charles Oddo, Steve Brown and Randy Ognio in attendance, a required three-person consensus did not occur regarding whether standard summaries of commission meetings should continue to be amended with lengthy verbatim notes at the request of a single commissioner.

Oddo said the additional hours of transcription required for the county clerk to make such amendments were not cost effective or necessary given the availability of audio and video recordings of each meeting.
