The East Point City Council regular meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Ave., suite 400. In addition to a public hearing for several ordinance amendments, the council will consider purchase of several Ford vehicles for city use, as well as equipment purchase and repair for the city’s water and sewer department. East Point also plans to apply for both the Recreational Trails and Roadside Enhancement Beautification Council (RECB) grants.
