East Point City Council Member Deana Holiday Ingraham has been appointed to the National League of Cities 2015 Community and Economic Development Steering Committee as well as to the Youth Education, and Families

Council.

The Community and Economic Development Steering Committee develops NLC federal policy positions on issues involving housing, community and economic development, land use, parks and recreation, historic preservation and international competitiveness.

The appointment to the YEF Council will allow Holiday Ingram to work with other locally elected officials, youth members and representatives from national organizations to oversee and improve issues pertaining to early childhood development and education, health and wellness, afterschool programs, youth violence prevention and family economic success.
