The city of Dunwoody will host two vision setting workshops that will lay the foundation for the five-year update of the city’s comprehensive land use plan, Shape Dunwoody.

The first event will take place 6:30 to 8:30 p.m Feb. 26 at the Community Life Center in room 212 at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 5015 Tilly Mill Road with a focus on the west side of the city (districts 2 and 3).

The second one is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 2 at the Dunwoody Library, 5339 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road with a focus on the west side of the city (districts 1 and 2).

The hands-on workshops will focus on collecting input about the city’s future, specifically the overarching long-term vision and community goals for land use and other service areas provided by the city. Topics to be explored include aging in place, Dunwoody’s unique identity, jobs-housing balance, future land use, transportation enhancements, and city infrastructure/services. The workshops are the first two in a series of six that will be held through June to gather input for the plan update.
