Create Dunwoody, the city’s initiative to develop an Arts & Culture Plan that supports quality of life, vibrant public spaces, and economic development, will host a public meeting.
This community-driven effort will look at existing arts, culture, organizations, installations, and events in the city and assess the needs and desires of residents, business owners and employees. The community is invited to attend the upcoming public meeting to kick-off the initiative 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 30 at Dunwoody City Hall, 41 Perimeter Center East, Dunwoody.
The goal is to recognize existing cultural elements, get input and inspiration on potential improvements, identify priorities and engage partners for collaboration. The initial meeting is a first step in soliciting public information and will be followed by future community meetings, events, and other outreach efforts to secure public input and provide opportunities for feedback on recommendations.
The city is also asking community members to participate in an Arts & Culture survey to help collect public input and ideas which will contribute to the master plan development at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/CreateDunwoody
