The Doraville City Council approved the rezoning application for a new gas station during its meeting Monday. Northcrest Food Mart, 3536 Northcrest, will have a convenience store and the owner will add seven parking spaces to the property, a condition of the application approval.
The council voted unanimously to deny a conditional use permit for a day spa and massage parlor at 6817 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The council said the property lot size too small at 21,000 square feet and 35,000 square feet are required.
The council also voted to hold no meetings in July, because of vacations. The Nov. 7 meeting will move to Nov. 14 because of the presidential election.
