Authorities determined a shooting that killed a man at a house party in DeKalb County was justified, according to DeKalb police.

Someone called 911 about 4 a.m. Sunday after shots were fired on Clifton Springs Manor.

Authorities found Frank Lovelace, 25, dead in a driveway, DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said.

About 100 people were at the party and several people were detained by police, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Police did not explain how they concluded the shooting was justified.
