DeKalb County’s watershed department and volunteers from the South River Watershed Alliance recently completed up another clean-up of the south DeKalb waterway.

Crews from watershed were able to pluck 83 tires from the river in two hours. Volunteers, meanwhile, removed 16 bags of trash and rubble from the Panola Shoals sandbar.
