The Cobb County Board of Commissioners decided Dec. 12 to approve three agreements for sewer extension, personal computers and new water and sewer lines.

They include:

  • $897,320 to Site Engineering, Inc. for Hogan Drive area sewer extension to replace septic tanks. The project includes the installation of about 2,800 linear feet of new eight-inch sewer lines made of ductile iron and polyvinyl chloride to provide sewer service to lots along Allyn Way, Allyn Drive and Hogan Drive.
  • $480,000 for 48 months of lease payments in Fiscal Years 2018-22 to replace up to 432 personal computers with Dell Financial Services. Of that amount, funding of $60,000 for Fiscal Year 2018 lease payments is available in the FY 2018 adopted budget.
  • a $1,000 two-year license agreement with PLG Macland to install water and sewer lines on adjacent Cobb County property to its proposed Millwood Farm Subdivision at 2410 Macland Road at Ernest Barrett Parkway. Once completed, the new water and sewer lines will be owned by the county.
