Closures for new I-75 diverging diamond announced

Road closures will begin Sept. 22 through Oct. 2 for the new diverging diamond interchange of I-75 at Wade Green Road:

  • Full bridge closures expected 9 p.m. Sept. 22 through 5 a.m. Sept. 25.
  • Single-lane closures in each direction expected Sept. 25-29.
  • Full bridge closures expected 9 p.m. Sept. 29 through 5 a.m. Oct. 2.

The project will include widening and reconstruction of the eastbound and westbound lanes, widening and reconstruction of both the northbound and southbound I-75 ramps and bridge rehabilitation. Also included are median construction and installation of curb and gutter, sidewalks and new signalization.
