Clayton County leaders are taking their show on the road this month. As part of his first 90 days in office, commission chairman Jeff Turner is instituting a series of quarterly community forums called “Show on the Road” to let people know what county leaders are doing and to give the community a chance to voice its opinion. Turner, along with newly-elected commissioner Shana Rooks, as well as members of the heads of each county department will attend. They will provide updates on projects, new initiatives, services and other issues. The first meeting will be March 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mundy’s Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Rd in Jonesboro. The forum is free and open to the public. For details, call 770 477-3208.
