Burglars broke into a south Fulton County government office complex early Monday in an attempt to steal money from an ATM, police said.

Fulton police Cpl. Kay Lester said just before 3:30 a.m., an officer discovered that someone had broken into the Government Service Center at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road.

“There were pry marks observed on the [ATM] and it was partially open, but it is not confirmed if any money was taken,” Lester said in an e-mail. “After checking the building, it is believed that the burglars entered through a court office door.”

The building houses a tag office as well as the South Fulton Magistrate Court and Probate Court.

Police have made no arrests and have not identified any suspects, Lester said late Monday morning.
