Everyone in Cumming knows Jim Grogan’s little blue Corvette.

“When I bought it, it was very unusual,” Grogan said of his 1969 Stingray which he purchased new. “People would come see the car like it was a new baby.”

Residents have seen his car in countless local parades and family members have used the car in their weddings.

Like Grogan, there are so many people in metro Atlanta who love their classic cars.

From Fayette to Forsyth counties, these beautiful machines can be seen cruising the back roads and highways of this state.

This video series has been created to showcase some of the fantastic cars in metro Atlanta and the people who put in the time, sweat and money to keep the tires rolling and the engines humming.

If you have a car you would like showcased, email Todd C. Duncan at todd.duncan@ajc.com.
