To mark the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Atlanta City Councilwoman Yolanda Adrean plans to host a private reception for representatives of the organization's Greater Atlanta Council and members of local scout troops at Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue on Monday, March 5. The event will begin at noon in Council Committee Room 1. A proclamation will be presented during the regular meeting of the City Council. There are currently 42,000 girls and 18,000 adult members in the Greater Atlanta Council.
