A workshop to help residents get involved in protecting DeKalb County’s water resources will be held nextweekend in Stone Mountain.

The Adopt-a-Stream session is designed to train volunteers on how to collect water samples from streams and to interpret water quality data.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Stone Mountain’s Confederate Hall, 2003 Robert E. Lee Blvd.
