One of Atlanta's chief meteorologists is getting quite a lot of attention lately after sharing a hilarious text message exchange with his 18-year-old daughter.

Chris Holcomb, who became 11Alive's chief meteorologist in 2014, was live-tweeting #Snowpocalypse (or should we say: #NoPocalypse) coverage and shared this clap-back when his daughter, Claire, challenged his weatherman skills:

"I just rolled my eyes and replied with 'thanks,'" Holcomb told BuzzFeed News.

But of course,  he couldn’t end the conversation without a zinger.

With Claire in her senior year of high school, colleges have been "a big topic in our household while she is narrowing her choices," he told BuzzFeed.

Since tweeting the exchange, Holcomb’s tweet has been liked more than 167,000 times and retweeted more than 51,000 times.

And people LOVED it.

Holcomb told BuzzFeed he felt "really good" about his snow predictions after studying computer models and maps.

Unfortunately, some folks in metro Atlanta were underwhelmed when they woke up to only ice and little snow the next morning. A warm layer of air was to blame, according to meteorologists.

But one thing’s for sure: This meteorologist dad totally won the conversation.
