Not sure when the big day is? For all wondering, Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
According to the Google Trends search algorithm, several Georgians have been searching "whens election day" Monday, along with "election day countdown," "election day coverage" and more.
We at The AJC, along with Google, are here to help answer your questions. Here are some essential things you need to know about voting on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.
WHO: All Georgians who registered to vote at least 30 days before Tuesday are eligible to vote.
In Georgia, voters are also required to bring ID. Here are the types of identification you can bring along:
- Georgia driver's license (even if expired)
- Georgia voter ID or other ID card issued by the State of Georgia, any other state, or the U.S. government
- Employee photo ID issued by the U.S. government, Georgia government, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other Georgia government entity
- U.S. passport
- U.S. military photo ID
- Student photo ID card issued by a Georgia public college, university, or technical school
- Valid tribal photo ID
If you haven't registered for this election, be sure to register for the next election season at Georgia's My Voter Page.
Remember, to be eligible to vote in Georgia, you must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- A legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote
- At least 18 years of age by Election Day
- Not serving any sentence imposed by the conviction of a felony
- Not judicially determined to be mentally incompetent

WHEN: Election Day 2016 is tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 8. It's your last chance to cast your votes for both local and national races. Early voting ended on Friday, Nov. 4.
In Georgia, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
