Congressman David Scott will hold his 11th Annual 13th Congressional District Health Fair this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mundy’s Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Road (also known as Hwy 54) in Jonesboro. The fair is free and offerings screenings for blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), children’s asthma, glaucoma, memory and dementia, PSA testing for prostate cancer, stress anxiety, senior wellness and many other health conditions. Military veterans will be provided services by the Atlanta VA Medical Center and Atlanta VA Regional Office. Primary care representatives will be available to help schedule appointments for vets on waiting lists. Information on mental health services and post-traumatic stress disorder counseling will be provided.
