Kennesaw State University will graduate its first class on December 15 since combining with Southern Polytechnic State University.
More than 2,500 students will receive degrees during the fall commencement set for KSU's convocation center.
With the merger in January, Kennesaw State became the second-largest school in the state’s public college system, behind the University of Georgia. Kennesaw State graduates about 5,500 students each year during fall, spring and summer commencements.

Dec. 12 - Clayton State University, university’s Athletics Center
Dec. 16 - Georgia State University, Georgia Dome
Dec. 17 - Georgia Gwinnett College, Infinite Energy Center (formerly the Gwinnett Center).
Dec. 18 - University of Georgia, Stegeman Coliseum
