Summer break might be right around the corner, but so are the deadlines for kindergarten registration for the 2017-2018 school year. While the enrollment period has passed for some school systems, registration is still open for many others. Search your district below to find out when to sign your little one up for school.
Atlanta Public School
While the pre-kindergarten lottery and enrollment period ended in March, APS is currently accepting applications online for the wait list.
Fulton County Schools
FCS held registration in May, but parents should visit the school their child will attend in the fall to complete registration.
DeKalb County Schools
Registration is an ongoing process that occurs throughout the year, but each school in the district designates days for student registration in June and July. Visit the specific school’s website to find out the dates.
Cobb County Schools
Open registration day is July 12 for all schools. Call the school of your choice for specific hours.
Marietta City Schools
Early kindergarten registration ended in February, but parents can register their child by scheduling an appointment with the school they’d like their child to attend.
Gwinnett County Schools
Registration became available online March 31. Parents and guardians must go to their child's school's website and register online. A directory of school websites can be found here.
Clayton County Schools
Registration closed in May but will open again starting the week of July 24.
