A Douglas County High School student has the chance to win $75,000 in Jeopardy’s Teen Tournament.

Agbor Josiah Takang is one of 15 students to compete in the competition, and will test his knowledge against two other students July 21 during the first round of preliminaries.

Takang is the fourth Georgia student to compete in the competition. In 2007, Hank Robinson, who was a student at Lithia Springs Comprehensive Hig School, competed and in 2011, Brandon Welch and Kailyn LaPorte represented Georgia in the teen tournament.

LaPorte made it to the final round, winning second place and $42,600.

The teen tournament will air July 21-Aug. 1.
