The Georgia General Assembly could outlaw the sale of human embryo for research under legislation being drafted by a north Fulton lawmaker. House Judiciary Chairman Wendell Willard, R-Sandy Springs told colleagues Wednesday that current Georgia law is open to embryos being sold for research. He said his concern is that the ability to sell an embryo might influence a person who is counseling to a woman considering an abortion.
