Some parents voiced concerns on the Facebook posts.

A parent wrote under one post, “Seems like it would make sense to close all the schools for the time [being].”

Many parents also mentioned families that have children in the middle school and high school.

“Honestly I think they all need to be shut down not just the middle school considering you have siblings that go to the other schools as well,” another parent wrote.

School officials also announced the middle school would move to virtual instruction in order for “appropriate disinfection."

Parents were offered Chromebooks and paper packets for their students, if needed.

School officials also posted that middle school sports would be postponed for two weeks to prevent further spread.
