Coat hooks are common on the backs of doors in the stalls of public bathrooms, but it’s a good idea to scrutinize them a little more closely before using the facilities.

According to police, some of these regular coat hooks actually have tiny pinhole cameras that could be recording a person's actions in the toilet, WTSP reported.

Police were seeking a man last May for installing coat hook cameras at three women's restroom stalls in the Florida Keys.

The coat hook camera is available on websites such as Amazon and Walmart.

If you see such an item in a bathroom -- public or private -- contact authorities, police said.
