Norcross First United Methodist Church, Norcross Cooperative Ministry and the Georgia Department of Labor's Gwinnett Career Center Veterans Unit will co-sponsor CareerFest 2015/Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 16. The free event will be held at the Norcross First United Methodist Church, located at 2500 Beaver Ruin Rd in Norcross. It's open to all job seekers and employers,and is designed to provide job leads, career development workshops and access to community programs.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with employers and workforce assistance resource agencies. There will be guest speakers, seminars, workshops and more. Returning by request Miss Tamika Conde, Project Director for AARP, will discuss job seekers over the age of 50. GDOL Gwinnett Career Center will be available to review participants' resumes and are encouraged to come dressed professionally and be prepared to interview. Local businesses with current job openings are invited to join this event.
