The man called police after a truck pulled up next to him and the driver yelled, "Why are you pointing a finger at me?"

The man claims Zimmerman told him, "Do you know who I am?" and then threatened his life. The incident took place on Tuesday.

Police spokeswoman Bianca Gillett said the man did recognize the truck driver as George Zimmerman.

The man, whose name has not been released, claims Zimmerman showed up outside his workplace two days later. He called police but declined to press charges.

Zimmerman, 30, was acquitted last year of a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin and has several legal issues since the murder trial.
