"I don't want to have to not be able to go there and not feel that my children are safe and most of all that they're learning something because how can they learn in the midst of a mob rule," parent John Tashie said.

School administrators at White Station High School, where the fight occurred, said on social media that the fight was not newsworthy, despite media coverage.

The school’s Twitter page said nobody was injured in the fight, but “all the students have received maximum consequences.”
