Forsyth County authorities are searching for a copper sculpture of an eagle that was taken from the Bethelview Road trail head of the Big Creek Greenway multi-use trail. County officials believe the sculpture was taken Monday evening or early Tuesday morning.

The sculpture is about 6 feet tall, with an 8-foot wingspan. It weighs approximately 400 pounds. Funded by a grant, the sculpture was installed in April.
