An 88-year-old Buckhead man was robbed at his home after withdrawing cash at an ATM.

Two men followed Silverio Domingo back to his Darlington Circle home Tuesday after he visited a Bank of America branch on Piedmont Road, according to a police report.

To him, it was clear the men were targeting someone to follow and rob, “and he was vulnerable,” witness Tiffany Alexander told Channel 2 Action News.

Domingo told police he didn’t see the men follow him home. He pulled into his driveway and opened the hood on his car.

That’s when he felt a push on his shoulder and a hand in his pocket, the police report states.

One suspect took $22 from Domingo’s pocket before the neighbors ran to his house.

Alexander, who saw the robbery through a window down the street, called 911.

The suspects drove away before police could arrive.
