Witness sought in Marietta teen’s deadly shooting 

Marietta police are hoping the public can identify a witness who may have information about a shooting that killed a teenager Sunday morning. 

Police released the witness’ photo Monday just hours after 17-year-old Miles Sanders was found shot and killed in the 700 block of Wilson Circle, Officer Chuck McPhilamy said.

No details have been released on what led to the shooting. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Marietta police at 770-794-5380 or their tipline at 770-794-6990. Tipsters can also remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org.
