Kell High School went on a brief lockdown Wednesday after a man was spotted stopping traffic in front of the Cobb County school.

“It was also reported that the same man parked his vehicle on school property and was allegedly seen tucking a suspicious looking item into his pants,” district spokeswoman Donna Lowry said in a statement.

When police arrived, the vehicle was gone.

Officials determined there was no threat to student safety.

“Kell is all clear,” Lowry said.
