A Marietta man is accused of attempting to run over three people at a Kennesaw gas station after getting in an altercation with the group at a hookah bar, authorities said.

Rommel Bernnett Bolanos faces two counts of aggravated assault in addition to public intoxication and aggressive driving charges after allegedly crashing into a parked car while trying to hit the three people, Cobb police told Channel 2 Action News.

Bolanos, born in 1992, allegedly got into a fight with Gavin Pryce and two of his friends at Cafe Istanbul on Saturday night before being kicked out, Pryce told Channel 2.

“He was like, ‘What are you gonna go? What are you gonna do? Then he swung a punch at my friend,” Pryce said.

Police told the news station Bolanos followed Pryce and his friends to a nearby RaceTrac off Wade Green Road. That’s when Bolanos allegedly accelerated toward Pryce’s car.

“He pushes the gas pedal, like straight trying to hit my car head-on,” Pryce said. “As I go this way, then he goes this way, crashing into my car three times.”

He’s then accused of trying to hit Pryce’s friends with his car. Pryce got out of his car after it was hit, and a second man is accused of jumping into it, driving it into a tree, totaling it and running away, the news station reported. Police are still searching for the second man, and a description of him has not been provided.
