A man was jumped outside his Sandy Springs office building and carjacked, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The incident occurred July 19 on Perimeter Center West, not far from the Sandy Springs MARTA station.

A police spokesman declined to comment on the incident, citing an ongoing investigation. But several people called 911 after coming across a man with a bloody face who said his truck was stolen, according to Channel 2.

“I have a pedestrian here. He’s been robbed,” a security guard told a dispatcher in a 911 call obtained by the news station. “Someone has taken his car and his items. He’s got blood on his face. I think they may have tried to harm him.”

Minutes later, dispatchers received another call from a woman who said her supervisor’s vehicle was taken from the parking lot.

The man told police three young men armed with a knife attacked him and stole his Toyota truck with his cellphone and personal belongings inside.

It’s unclear whether the incident was captured by surveillance cameras or whether any arrests have been made.
