Police in LaGrange are investigating two shootings they believe are related.

Shooting erupted in a crowded parking lot on city property about 10 p.m. Saturday, police spokesman Lt. Dale Strickland said.

Four cars  pulled into the city-owned lot across from LaGrange High School and shots were fired from at least two cars, Strickland said.

Less than an hour later, Daven Tucker, a 20-year-old with known gang associations, was shot at 210 Newnan Street in LaGrange.

Three people flagged down police cars after the shooting and Tucker was taken to a hospital, where he died.
