Robert Hill is a maintenance worker at the Caswyck Trail apartments in Marietta, so he noticed Thursday when a driver allegedly tried to run over one of his co-workers.

The driver rammed a vehicle, then tried to run over a maintenance worker who had tried to help a security guard after he questioned her, police said.

When the security guard confronted the driver, identified as 25-year-old Quonshae Smith, she took off her clothes, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Then Hill followed as she drove away.

“You got to think fast, and that was just one of my reactions,” he said.

This was happening as children were coming home from school; Osborne High School is nearby.

Hill rear-ended Smith’s car, and she crashed in a church parking lot, police said.

“At that point, I had trapped her,” Hill said, “so she had no where else to go.”

Smith was charged with aggravated assault,  public indecency, hit-and-run and reckless driving, according to Cobb County Jail records.

She remains in jail on a $15,000 bond, jail records show.
