A Florida woman was arrested after deputies said she called 911 more than five times to report cats in her yard.
According to Bay 9 News, Yleana Maria Ruiz, 52, called Pasco County sheriff's deputies to her home on March 24 and reported an emergency.
Ruiz told police that she called 911 several times because she feared that cats might defecate in her yard. When deputies warned her that she would be arrested if she called again, she told them that she would keep calling.
She was arrested and charged with misuse of 911 and taken to a local detention center.
